Crocus had decided that she hated the weather on the entire cursed island. Summer had been too hot, and too sandy. It got everywhere and chafed under her armour. It had been a place she was glad to leave behind. Even if the loot hadn't been too bad. Autumn hadn't been great either. It was wet and sticky. You'd think that with fire as one of her two affinities that the desert would be better… but no, as much as Autumn sucked at least she wasn't being cooked alive.
It was weird. Sure the temperature wasn't going to hurt her but it just FELT hot. It was probably the lack of humidity in the air that really did it. Of course, Autumn just had to prove that too much of a 'good' thing was still bad. The rain was annoying, the mud was annoying, and that mouse girl she'd spotted was annoying. Avoiding a fight with her had been a great idea after watching the little mouse slam a giant stone slab into a monster, crushing it under the weight with a furious look on her face.
