"A trick? What do you mean?" Arturia asked.
"When we will destroy all electrical devices around Mars, at the same time other devices around Earth and the solar system will experience a similar phenomenon where as if they have encountered a solar flare and they will shut down temporarily."
"I see. But Shiro even if we launch small rockets with EMP grenades it'll take a long time for them to reach everything. And they will most definitely be discovered." Rin thought Shiro was planning to launch EMP grenades and target every one of Earth's satellites, orbital equipment and all the other different crafts floating in the solar system.
"You are wrong Rin, we will not be attacking everything. We want to hide ourselves at least for the time being and not announce to the world of our presence. For that we will not attack them, rather we will make it seem like they were attacked by a solar flare."
"Please explain." Minerva asked Shiro.
"That is what I'm doing. Before that Minerva can you please tell me what's the current communication delay between Mars and Earth?"
"It is around six minutes."
"That's great it is not that long." Shiro heaved a sigh of relief as he heard about the time delay from Minerva. Even though six minutes seem like a very big delay but in reality it is actually not. For Mars average time delay with Earth ranges from three to forty four minutes depending on the distance between Earth and Mars. That is why Shiro was relieved as it was not that big of a difference. Compared to forty four minutes six minutes is much much better.
"It would have been much higher but because of our advance equipment we can bring it down to six minutes. We could bring it down further if we were able to launch a large antennae but that will expose us."
"No this much is enough I think. Now here is the most important question, Minerva can you create an artificial intelligence which will do only things that we tell it to do without having much self awareness?"
"Yes I can." Minerva can create other artificial intelligence albeit basic ones but those must adhere to some rules where it won't harm the Tachibana's and other human without their consent.
"That's great. This will make it a lot easier now. So here is the complete plan. Minerva you will create an AI which will be sent to one of the Earth's almost dead satellite, please find one. The AI will infiltrate the satellite's computers and then it will spread it self from there to the different observatories, NASA, ESA, JAXA etc. then it'll plant false information of a solar flare and all the orbiters and space crafts glitching. Those information will be released when we disable those Mars orbiters and landers. The timing must be perfect. After that is done we will slowly infiltrate all the other crafts in the solar system and make it so that they don't find any loopholes. That's the whole plan. I know this is rough and I can't possibly cover everything so Minerva I'll leave the details and fine tuning of the plan to you. How long do you think will it take for you to get everything done and ready for the execution." Shiro explained the detailed plan to everyone and asked Minerva to perfect it.
"Creating the AI and compressing it and the relevant data to the limit and sending it to Earth and spreading it, well I think more or less twenty four hours." After calculating everything Minerva told Shiro the time it will take for everything to get ready. "But Shiro we may be able to infiltrate those that are connected to networks but what are we going to do about those that are not and also about those armature astronomers." Minerva can only reach those that are connected to a network but there are many who has devices that are not connected to any form of network at the moment.
"We will leave them be, their data will most probably be counted as anomaly because they are mostly not credible or those that are in minority. Besides to foolproof it we will slowly implant those same data in the observation satellites." Shiro assured Minerva that it'll not be a problem. "Besides even if they notice something it'll already be too late for them as they will not really be able to pinpoint the problem or the source." Shiro gave a mischievous smile and said "Don't you think it will be fun to watch them fumble around."
"Shiro you are such a evil guy." Rin laughed while imagining all the Earth's scientists getting flustered.
"Shiro that's evil." Arturia smiled slightly imagining the same thing as Rin.
"Well that is for later, For now, Minerva can you do it?"
"Yes I'll get it done as soon as I can."
"Ok then inform me as soon as you are done."
