Qi Jingren placed a bottle of whiskey in front of the man and said calmly, "If you want a drink, pour it yourself."
The man's face initially bore a smile, but after seeing her action and hearing her words, his expression changed instantly. He pushed the whiskey back across the bar and said, "I came here to drink, not to do your work for you!"
"I'm aware," Qi Jingren said. "The rule here is that if you want a drink, you have to pour it yourself."
She paused for a moment, then continued, "If you won't pour, then get lost."
"I paid money to come here and have fun, and you expect me to serve myself? What a joke!" The man's face turned livid with anger. He snorted disdainfully, causing the fat on his face to tremble and making him look particularly ugly.
Qi Jingren thought looking at him any longer would dirty her eyes, so she averted her gaze, picked up her glass of red wine, and continued drinking, treating the man in front of her like he was air, invisible.
