Under the Sky Dome, amidst the helpless cries and wails, an angry roar erupted, the whinny of a steed.
The majestic Knight roared, riding into the slaughter array, slashing the iron light from his hand, tearing apart the surging flames, breaking through, standing in front of the slaughterers who were no longer human.
The storm and gale reversed, spreading.
"Run quickly, old man." The Knight didn't turn his head as he spoke to the limp old policeman beside him, "Head north, there are people still resisting there."
The old man clutched the child in his arms tightly and nodded vigorously.
"Thank you, thank you."
He staggered to his feet, limping away to the distance.
