Toshio stands bewildered amidst the fading thick smoke, looking around, but the elderly man who always held his hand to escape is already gone...
Something seems to have fallen from the sky, landing far away, and then many things vanished, along with Aunt Nakayama, never to be seen again.
But when he finally looks down, he sees that severed arm among the ruins.
The arm still bears traces where a ring used to be.
