Outside, it was still raining, and the sky had turned completely dark.
Jasmine Yale opened her umbrella, calmly looking at the road ahead.
The wind blew, and a leaf fell at her feet, making a gentle swirl before brushing the ground and flying away. The road at night was very quiet, and the sound of branches swaying "swish, swish" could be heard everywhere.
Raindrops fell on the umbrella, "drip, drip," like time passing through a deserted wilderness, ethereal and silent.
Jasmine Yale went home.
In the taxi, she received another call from Kade Yuvan.
"Jasmine, did you come by? The CEO's office is a mess; I wanted to clean it up, but the CEO won't let me in," Kade Yuvan was quite anxious.
"Just follow his wishes."
"The CEO's injuries are really severe, that deputy president was heavy-handed, and I'm not sure what grudge he holds against the CEO." Kade Yuvan had some understanding, it was just… rivals in love, especially envious.
