Felip had no way to say no to Gabriella, especially when it was his sister-in-law who had asked him. He just couldn't refuse Simione—not even when she and Gabriella dragged him along to a boutique to pick out gowns and possibly a tux for him.
As the two women flitted from one dress to another, Felip trailed behind like a child waiting for his mother to decide what he should wear. He observed quietly, knowing all too well that his opinion would likely be disregarded in favor of their enthusiasm.
"Do you think Primo will come?" Gabriella asked hesitantly as her anxiety crept into her voice. The thought of attending the influencer's night already made her uneasy, but knowing Primo had also been invited only deepened her hesitation.
