Today is September 28th my mother and I went to buy some things we needed in the Grocery store. When we walked in there were two guys robbing the place. A typical day in Gotham city and once again I have to decide if I should take care of these guys or just act weak. My mother looked at me expectantly and I sighed. I look at the two men and then the clerk while facepalming.
I walked up to the guys. "Hey I'd advise you both stop what you're doing or someone is going to get hurt." The guys laughed and shot me in the head. I fell down with a bullet hole in my head and they turned around resuming what they were doing. These idiots thought I was dead.
The hole heals and I spit the bullet out then I get up and flames cover my fist. I look at them and swing hard to one of the guys head hitting him straight on the temple causing him to fall to the ground without a struggle a slight burn mark was left where I hit him. The other guy looked surprised and shot me with all the bullets he had in his gun. I grin and my wounds heal right in front of him. He screams and I uppercut him with my flaming fist.
*Crack* His jaw breaks and some teeth fly out his mouth. I look at the clerk and waved. "Hey call the cops man and you're welcome." I walk and go to stand with my mother. The cops show up and take the robbers and the clerk tells them that I just showed up and beat the crap out of those guys and saved his life. The cops didn't believe him.
My mother and I grabbed what we needed and went to the clerk. I waved at him and smiled. He put our stuff in a bag and we left to go home. My mother and I talked about how I'm improving with my powers. When we got home I put the groceries away and ran to my room.
When in my room I open my laptop and read the news to see about any new things happening in Gotham. That's when I see what surprises me the most. "What the hell is that? Why didn't mom tell me?"
