Chapter 5 - ILLUMINATING ELDER

"Bane, Franco! I know you have followed us here. Show yourselves" Aurora ordered leaving them no choice but to show up from the large ice crystal where they hide.

"Why did you two followed us?" She questioned.

"Uh-Uhm.. Your Majesty, Franco said he needs to see what you're about to do and---"

"Don't be ridiculous, Bane. You're the one who forced me to use my hook to get us here."

"NO! You said you're curious."

"YOU ARE MORE CURIOUS THAN ME WASTED VALKYRIE"

"UNDEAD OCTOPUS OF SEVEN---"

"ENOUGH!!" the authoritative voice of Aurora echoed. Both of them fell in silence as they what would happen if they insist to keep on arguing.

"It doesn't matter, but I need the two of you to create a letter to be sent in misty mountains." Franco and Bane eyed each other. They both gulped after hearing the place's name.

"Misty Mountains?" Bane said.

"Yes" Queen Aurora answered with a smirk

"B-but there's a possibility that we'll be mistaken as spies..."

"The mysterious race of the inhabitants there are pretty intimidating." Franco stated

"Hurry! I asked you to create a letter, not go there. Quick! Remind them it's urgent."

The two did not bother to ask any more questions and proceed to do their task. Freya looked at Aurora while trying to figure out what plans do the queen have before asking her.

"Queen Aurora, what's with the misty mountains?" Tigreal bravely asked and waited for her answer. Freya did the same, she know about the place but what's bothering her is why they needed to send an urgent letter.

"We'll need some help from them. I bet, they won't turn down the Kingdom's request. Also, they would not refuse if they know it's Freya who needs them now." Aurora answered.

"Help from whom?" Tigreal asked once again. He's not forgetting to be careful in asking questions since he learned what will happen in case the queen loses her temper.

"The Illuminating Elder, another Legend of Nost Gal."

Meanwhile, Franco and Bane headed once again to the magical cove and seems to still have a score to settle.

"Hey, Squid head! Can't you walk faster?"

"Quit it out! H-HEY WHAT--" Bane was left speechless when Franco hooked him.

"HAHAHA! I bet you can walk faster and keep up."

"Y-you!! You keep on putting me in danger. Red-haired fat boy!"

"You think you're a petite one? Oh look at you man!"

"I'll make the Queen throw you in dungeon"

"Well, if we don't keep quiet we'll be both thrown in the dungeon and that's not okay! The temper of the queen is related to some rules, crubs."

As Franco and Bane reached the entrance to the cove, they throw a deadly stare to one another. It lasted for a few seconds before they realize to give up the argument for they might get scolded again.

"Queen Aurora, here's the letter." Aurora accepted the scroll and attached the Kingdom's emblem to ensure that they'll make them respond to their request.

"Do you really think they'll accept it?" Freya asked.

"No doubt, they'll be here in no time." Aurora then stared at the magical orb "No one can turn down a legend."

The Land of Dawn was known to be mysterious; full of legends, myths, and things left unexplained. Like centaurs, who dwells in the misty mountains that can be found around the Northern Land. They are protecting a magical power that can be found in the waters of the fountain, preventing it to be obtained by evil forces that hope to dominate the land as they fill it with darkness.

It's almost time for sunset, peaceful as it seems. A centaur who's obliged to guard the west entrance admired the scenery. He observed the sky that is now filled with fiery colors until he saw something that piqued his attention; a glass-like nightingale.

"Strange." he uttered as he watched the nightingale swerve to his direction and quickly shattered after dropping a scroll. By then, he picks up the scroll and notice that it bears the Northern Kingdom's crest.

"It must be urgent." He quickly unrolled the scroll and start reading the message.

'The mysterious events in the Land of Dawn increased. Another phenomenon occurred in Queen Aurora's castle and we hope to find answers in order to solve this sorcery. The Goddess of War, Freya, badly need our forces and powers to help us know the truth behind this. We, in the Northern Kingdom, is respectfully asking for the help of centaurs especially to the Grand Warden, Hylos to please come in our castle and adhere to our request. Thank you we are hoping that you will agree. We'll be discussing the plans once your troops get here.'

After reading the letter, the centaur quickly runs to reach their Warden faster. The Northern Kingdom doesn't interact too much and the fact they did this time, they really need some help. The moment he saw Hylos in a close distance, he slows down his pace and called him out.

"We have received a request from the Northern Kingdom." He stated.

"Queen Aurora? That's too unusual…." Hylos said as he accept the scroll that's being handed out to him.

"A Goddess named Freya is said to need our help."

"What? Freya's here?"

"According to the note, she is. Anyway--" Hylos didn't let him finish his statement by using his staff to silence him for a while. "What is she up to?" He proceeds to read the requisition letter. He can't still absorb the fact that Freya returned in Nost Gal. Unable to solve what kind of help the Goddess needs, he curled up the scroll and lift up his head to face the centaur.

"Inform them to secure more the mountains. Get someone who'll guard your spot. The two of us are the only ones to go. I need to help Freya, no matter what help I can offer."

He proceeds to leave Hylos to accomplish his request. When he's completely alone, he slowly looked up to the sky. "Finally, the time has come."

Some visions appeared in Hylos' mind, he can't help but to overthink what could happen next since he felt some mishap will eventually occur. However, one thought also runs in his mind; to help them to the extent of his powers.

"Don't make a mistake, Freya."
