Everything was all colourful, traditional music clang in the streets, stalls were everywhere.
"Wow, that's so beautiful!"
Jessicas eyes were wide open as she looked around in the street.
"Say, Jason, can we really eat all the food they sell here?"
Kenji looked amused at his friend.
"Right, Jason, how could you say no to that adorable smile of your sister? I think a purse full of money is nothing compared to that."
Jason sighed.
"Damn, I should have thought before saying we could get it all. Will our stomaches even hold this? But it is my duty as big brother to make my little sister happy! Let's go Jessica!! It is time for Japanese food!! But first we need to go home and get money."
Kenji looked at the two siblings moving off to the stalls.
"I hope they will see the parade without a stomachache later. Right Hikari? Heh? Hikari?"
Hikari was staring at the goldfish scooping game. She was mumbling to herself.
"Impossible, impossible, how can people do this??"
Kenji got next to Hikari.
"You want one?"
"Yes, but I never won this game!"
"Want me to get you one?"
"Would you do it for me??"
Hikaris eyes shined. Kenji smiled.
"Of course."
Without many problems Kenji caught 3 goldfishes and gave them to Hikari.
"Woooow! You are amazing!! Thank you so muuuuuch!!"
Hikari jumped around from happiness until a loud bang was to hear and screaming people started to run away.
"Explosion!?"
Kenji saw a cloud of smoke rising in the sky not too far away.
"Hikari. Let's go!"
Hikari nodded shortly and they ran in the direction of the explosion. Now also gunshots were to hear.
"What's going on? A terror attack?
Hikari whe-"
Before he could finish his sentence shots were fired into their direction.
"Look out!!"
Kenji pushed away Hikari and could barely dodge the bullets himself. He ran in the direction of one of the terrorists, precisely dodging the bullets that were flying in his direction, and struck him down. With the gun he took out the other terrorists. But he could still hear shots and a mans voice screaming across the place. The man looked like an American soldier who didn't care for what happened around him and kept firing into the air while laughing.
"What the-?"
Kenji pointed the gun at the terrorist who made a step forward. Kenji moved his finger near the trigger.
"One more step and I'll shoot."
The terrorist stopped. Kenji had to force himself to not just shoot him.
"Why are you doing this?"
"To teach the world...about despair...about suffering. This New Year will lead the way into a new era. An era of these feelings. That era shall bring forth hell. The revolution has already begun."
"~What the hell is with him?~"
The terrorist approached Kenji again.
"And with what kind of persons am I dealing with right now, who took out all of my comrades?"
Hikaris expression changed into a little smile.
"Who we are?"
Kenji continued her words.
"We are Angels. For protecting...for helping...to spread light...to bring down heaven...against Hell, goes our Fight."
"Angels, eh?"
The terrorist moved nearer and Kenji shot his leg and kicked away his gun.
"Phew, what the hell is with them Hika-"
"K-kenji?"
Hikari interrupted him. Her eyes were wide open as she looked at the bodies of the terrorists on the ground. They were lulled into a dark aura and they just repeated one phrase over and over again.
"May Hell be coming."
"Kenji what are they-"
Hikari couldn't finish. Burning, black creatures manifested at the terrorists bodies who now seemed liveless. One of these creatures jumped at Hikari. She was shocked.
"Demons!?"
Kenji pushed away Hikari from the danger once again.
"Don't worry. You know we have the power to fight them."
He then held his hand in the sky and a pillar of light formed in it.
"Warriors of heaven, lend me your strength."
The pillar of light turned into a shining sword. Hikari did as Kenji did and a trident manifested in her hand. They were now surrounded by dozens of the burning creatures.
"You ready Hikari? Let's go!!"
-On this world shall a new era begin. A time of suffering and despair. Hell shall come down to this world and bring forth what it deserves.-
To be continued...
