Take for example Maria Sklodowska Curie's notebook. A book containing forbidden knowledge of mass destruction. A book so radioactive it needs to be sealed in a lead box.
It contains essential information on our universe, but getting too close to it will slowly kill you. The more you read it, the more your body will disassemble itself.
