Before starting, I want to explain something: the story will be different from the original game, and I won't go over the interactions where the MC is absent. Because I am not Japanese, I am not familiar with Japanese locations, so no specific place names will be given in the story. Hope everyone will like my story.
Finally, I reached the station. It was almost 12:00 AM. I should hurry and get to the dorm, I thought, checking the address one last time.
Meanwhile, somewhere in a certain dorm room, a mysterious girl stood trembling. She held a silver, gun-like object tightly against her temple. "I can do it," she whispered to herself, trying to summon her courage. "I am not scared."
A long silence filled the room. Slowly, her arm dropped. "I can't do it..."
Dong, dong. The station clock struck 12:00 AM.
Stepping out of the station, the newly arrived boy looked up at the sky. "The moon looks quite big... it's giving me the creeps. I should hurry up and get to the dorm."
As he walked down the street, he froze. Scattered along the sidewalks were dozens of mysterious, upright coffin-like figures. The city's electricity was completely dead, yet an odd, eerie green light enveloped the entire area, illuminating everything as clearly as if it were daytime. The sight filled him with deep fright. He quickly picked up his pace, walking as fast as he could until he finally reached the entrance of the dorm.
The moment he stepped inside, a mysterious young boy suddenly appeared before him out of thin air.
"Hello," the boy said calmly. "I have been waiting for you. You have to sign this contract."
The older boy blinked, confused. "What is this about?"
"Don't worry," the child replied. "This contract merely states that you take full responsibility for your actions. Now, sign here."
"Okay," he muttered. He took the pen and signed his name: Makoto Yuki.
The moment the signature was finished, the mysterious boy disappeared like smoke.
Instantly, a girl who was older than him stepped forward. The moment the boy vanished, this stunning red-haired girl with sharp red eyes, a round, full bust, and a beautiful figure came into view. She was wearing a purple one-piece nightdress that showed off a tantalizing bit of her thighs and her long, beautiful, sexy legs, which enhanced her striking beauty even more.
She stared at him, reacting as if she had just seen a ghost. "How are you still...!"
Yuki looked at her, completely bewildered. "What are you talking about?"
"Nothing," she recovered quickly, her expression turning cool and composed. "My name is Mitsuru Kirijo. I am a senior here. You must be Makoto Yuki?"
"Yes," he replied.
Just then, a beautiful brunette girl came hurrying down the stairs. While not quite as fiercely regal as Mitsuru, she was incredibly attractive, possessing a soft, seductive charm with a round bust and a stunning figure. She wore a tight pink top that gave a very clear idea of the size of her chest, paired with short grey shorts that showed off a generous amount of her legs. She was holding a silver gun in her hand, looking just as shocked as Mitsuru.
"How is he still—?" the brunette started.
"Ok, enough," Mitsuru interrupted firmly before the younger girl could finish her sentence. She turned back to Yuki. "Did you find anything strange on your way here? I mean, did you face any problems?"
Yuki vividly remembered the terrifying green light and those bizarre, upright coffins on the street. But thinking it over, he decided it would be wisest to keep his mouth shut. Otherwise, they might think he was completely crazy.
"No," Yuki said. "But who was the boy I saw just now?"
As he spoke, the lights suddenly buzzed and flickered back on, bathing the lounge in normal light.
"Oh, the electricity came back," Mitsuru noted. "What boy are you talking about? There is no boy in this dorm. There are only three student members and one advisor living here. Me, Yukari here, Akihiko Sanada, and our teacher. You will see the other two later. Yukari, take him to his room. All of your things are already up there."
The brunette nodded. "Hello, my name is Yukari Takeba. Follow me, I will show you to your room."
Without questioning them any further, Yuki followed Yukari up the stairs. After showing him to his designated room, Yukari lingered by the door.
"Do you have any questions?" she asked.
"Yes," Yuki said bluntly. "Why are you holding a gun?"
"Oh, you noticed..." Yukari shifted slightly. "Don't worry, it's not a real gun. It's just for protection. I know you have many questions and you're tired, so we will talk about the rest later."
Once she left, Yuki quickly changed his clothes and climbed into bed, instantly dropping off to sleep as he was extremely tired.
As he slept, he felt his consciousness being pulled across a vast distance. He found himself standing in front of a strange, ornate door. When he opened it, he stepped inside to see two mysterious figures waiting for him.
An elderly man with an incredibly long nose smiled from behind a table. "Hello, my name is Igor, and I am the master of this Velvet Room. And this is my assistant, Elizabeth."
The elegant woman in blue next to him gave a polite nod.
"As you have signed the contract, you are now permitted to enter this room," Igor continued.
"Is this a dream?" Yuki asked.
"Yes, but that doesn't mean it is a lie," Igor replied smoothly. "As you signed the contract, you are the new guest of our Velvet Room, and we will do our best to help you in your journey. But in return, you must take full responsibility for your actions. Do you have any more questions?"
Yuki didn't entirely understand what the strange man meant, but he simply replied, "No."
"Then goodbye... until we meet again."
When Yuki woke up the next morning, he was still deeply confused by the strange dream, but he chose not to dwell on it. He brushed his teeth, took a refreshing bath, and began getting ready for school. The moment he finished putting on his uniform, a soft knock came from the door.
"May I come in?" Yukari's voice called out.
"Yes," Yuki answered.
Yukari stepped inside and smiled. "Oh, you are ready! Mitsuru-senpai asked me to show you around the dorm."
After Yukari showed him the layout of the building, they headed down to the first floor to have some breakfast. Sitting at the dining table, Yuki looked around the quiet room.
"Is there really only four people around here?" he asked.
"Actually, no," Yukari explained, taking a bite of her food. "There is another person who stays here. She also cooks for us."
"Is she a hired cook? I didn't see her last night."
"No, she ain't a cook. She stays here all the time doing her own weird research, and in her free time, she cooks for us."
"So she is a researcher?"
"Kind of, yeah."
As they were talking, a beautiful woman stepped up behind them. She looked to be around 25 years old. While her beauty wasn't quite on Mitsuru's level, she easily matched Yukari's standard—but she was far more provocative. She wore an incredibly revealing top that put a massive portion of her large melons on display, paired with a pair of extremely tight, short pants.
"What are you two talking about?" she purred seductively. "Are you talking about me? About what a great researcher I am?"
The moment Yuki saw her, his face flushed bright red.
Yukari rolled her eyes hard. "You wish. And could you please wear some decent clothes?"
"I am wearing decent clothes!" the woman laughed, waving her hand dismissively. "If you can't see my nipples, then that's good enough for me!"
"No, that's not good enough for all of us!" Yukari snapped back.
Yuki cleared his throat, trying to look anywhere else. "Hmmm... who is this woman?"
"This is the person I was talking about," Yukari sighed. "Her name is Lala Hanzfield."
Lala instantly smirked, stepping incredibly close to Yuki. "Oh, you must be the new kid. You look quite handsome. Do you have a girlfriend?"
Hearing Lala's direct question made Yuki blush fiercely.
"Stop messing around, Lala!" Yukari interjected.
Lala turned her smirk on the brunette. "Oh, don't tell me you like him?"
Hearing that, both Yukari and Yuki's faces turned completely red.
"Of course not!" Yukari shouted angrily.
Lala giggled and leaned even closer to Yuki. When Yuki realized just how close her face was to his, he found his eyes staring directly at her cleavage, seeing nearly 80% of Lala's two big melons. He quickly whipped his head away to look the other direction.
Noticing how incredibly red his face had become at the sight of her chest, Lala laughed. "Do you like my babies?" she teased, playfully grabbing both of her massive melons and lifting them up, which flaunted her cleavage even more.
"STOP MESSING AROUND!" Yukari screamed in a thoroughly angry tone.
"OK, OK," Lala chuckled, finally stepping back. "You two should hurry up, or otherwise you guys will be late."
They quickly left the dorm, walked to the station, and boarded the commuter train. Sitting in the rail cart, Yukari let out an exhausted sigh. "Sorry about Lala."
"No, that's OK," Yuki replied. "But... does she always dress like that?"
"That's nothing," Yukari groaned, her tone completely annoyed. "She wears even more vulgar dresses when it's only me and Mitsuru-senpai around."
When they finally arrived at the school, Yukari pointed toward the main building. "You should talk to the teachers in the faculty room. They will tell you which section you'll be assigned to."
"Which section are you in?" Yuki asked.
"I don't know, I didn't check," she replied, heading off.
Yuki walked into the faculty room and approached a sharp-looking female teacher. "Good morning, teacher."
The woman looked up from her desk. "Good morning. You must be Makoto Yuki?"
"Yes."
"OK, good. You will be in Section B. My name is Isako Toriumi, and I will be your homeroom teacher. Now follow me, it's time for the morning assembly."
After the assembly concluded, Yuki followed Ms. Toriumi to his new classroom. Standing at the front, he introduced himself to the students. He felt an instant wave of relief when he scanned the room and saw a familiar face—Yukari was sitting right there.
When the lunch break arrived, Yukari immediately walked over to his desk, leaning in close. "Don't tell anyone about last night, okay?"
Yuki didn't entirely understand why she wanted to keep his arrival a secret, but he simply nodded his head. "Alright."
As they were talking, a loud, cheerful boy's voice called out from behind them. "Hey, what are you guys talking about? Are you two dating? Because a bunch of students were saying you guys came to school together!"
Yukari glared at him, deeply annoyed. "No, we are not dating. We just happen to live in the same dorm."
The boy turned his attention to Yuki, looking him up and down with a grin. "Man, you are very lucky to be walking around with a beauty like that. My name is Junpei Iori."
"Nice to meet you," Yuki said. "I am new here."
"Nice to meet you too! Let's meet up after school, and I'll show you around the area."
Yukari picked up her things. "You guys talk. I have archery club duty."
Yuki and Junpei chatted for a bit while they finished their lunch, and once the break ended, they returned to their classes. After school was over, Junpei kept his word and hung out with Yuki, showing him around the local sights. Once the tour was done, Yuki made his way back to the dorm.
When he stepped inside the lounge, he saw two people he hadn't met before sitting with Mitsuru, Yukari, and Lala.
Mitsuru looked up. "Oh, you are here. Let me introduce you to everyone. You already know me, Yukari, and Lala. The boy who is wearing the school uniform is Akihiko Sanada, and the man wearing the suit is Mr. Shouji."
Akihiko gave a casual nod. "Hello, nice to meet you."
Mr. Shouji looked over at him. "So you are the new kid? Do you have any questions regarding the dorm?"
"No," Yuki replied simply.
As they were talking, Lala came walking down the stairs. She was wearing a short, tight top that gave a very clear, prominent view of her nipples through the thin fabric, paired with a pair of short pants that were even smaller than the ones she wore in the morning, looking practically like a pair of panties.
"Oh, everyone is here!" Lala cheered. "Come up to the 4th floor."
Yuki looked around the room. "Do I need to come too?"
Lala glided over, getting right into his personal space. "No, honey, you won't be needed," she purred. "Why don't you go up to your room and get some rest?"
"Alright," Yuki said, gladly heading upstairs to his room.
Nothing much happened for the next couple of days. Yuki truly thought his days would remain simple and peaceful just like this. But one night, his normal life changed forever.
Late that night, tension gripped the lower floors of the dorm.
Akihiko paced the room, his face grim. "It is getting worse. More and more people are getting sick out there."
"Yes," Mitsuru agreed seriously. "We have to do something quickly."
"Well, I am going out for a while to check things out," Akihiko said, moving toward the door.
"Stay safe. Goodbye," Mitsuru said.
Later that same night, inside one of the monitoring rooms, Yukari stood anxiously beside the advisor. "We have been watching him for a while now... I feel like this is wrong."
Mr. Shouji sighed, staring at the screens. "We are very short on manpower for the war we are fighting, Takeba. We have to see if he has the potential or not. Won't you feel more comfortable if one of your classmates is your teammate?"
"Yes, but..."
Before she could finish her sentence, the communications console began to ring loudly. Akihiko's frantic voice crackled through the speaker.
"This is Akihiko here! I found a big one!"
Mitsuru leaned into the microphone. "You mean one of those things?! Where are you?!"
"Yes! I'm coming back—I am bringing it to the dorm!"
"You are bringing it here?!" Mitsuru gasped in shock. "Why are you bringing it here?!"
"I am already here!" Akihiko yelled through the static.
Mitsuru snapped into action. "Takeba! Quickly go to Yuki's room and wake him up right now!"
Upstairs, hearing all the loud commotion and shouting outside, Yuki woke up. Assuming someone had fallen terribly sick and needed to be hospitalized, he quickly threw off his blankets and began changing his clothes so he could go out and help.
Suddenly, someone began knocking heavily on his bedroom door.
"Sorry, but I'm coming in!" Yukari shouted, throwing the door open.
The moment she burst into the room, Yukari let out a loud scream. Yuki was standing there entirely in his underwear.
"I-I am sorry!" Yukari cried, hiding her eyes as her face turned completely crimson. "Please quickly get ready, we have an emergency!"
She bolted back out into the hallway, slamming the door.
Yuki scrambled into his clothes as fast as possible and ran out to meet her. Together, they raced through the heavy, suffocating air up to the roof, but a terrifying, monstrous Shadow materialized from the darkness, cutting off their escape.
Yukari stepped in front of him, her body shaking wildly, but her eyes full of determination. "Don't worry... I am gonna protect both of us!"
With trembling fingers, she pulled out the silver gun and aimed it directly at her own head. But a sudden moment of pure hesitation paralyzed her from pulling the trigger. That single second was all the monster needed. The Shadow launched a swift, vicious attack, striking hard enough to make Yukari completely lose her balance. She crashed to the ground, and the silver gun slipped from her hand, rolling across the concrete right next to Yuki.
"Take the gun and shoot yourself!" Yukari screamed through her tears, desperate. "I know this is wired, but trust me! It will be alright!"
Hearing her desperate cry, Yuki didn't hesitate. He scooped up the heavy weapon, raised it straight to his head, and pulled the trigger.
BANG!
A blinding, explosive force tore out from within his mind. A mysterious, incredibly powerful figure emerged from his consciousness, roaring into the night. With the overwhelming strength of his newly found power, Yuki commanded the entity, tearing the monstrous foe apart and defeating it easily.
But the moment the Shadow dissolved into mist, a crushing wave of exhaustion hit him. Yuki realized he could no longer keep his eyes open. The sheer strain was too much; his knees buckled, and he fell heavily to the ground, completely losing his senses as the world went black.
