The outskirts of Abyssal Hollow.
In a pitch-black corner of the Void, a fist-sized fluorite floats, emitting a cold light source.
However, the range of the light source only covers about two or three meters, beyond which all light is swallowed by an unknown darkness.
"The light wasn't suppressed by darkness, it just disappeared, as if space itself is distorted," Angel looked into the deep darkness. "Yet, I don't sense any spatial energy fluctuations... it's really strange."
Laplace: "That's the nature of Abyssal Hollow; it absorbs all light. As for the spatial fluctuations you mentioned, they do exist, but inside Abyssal Hollow, not outside."
Angel: "What exactly is it like inside Abyssal Hollow?"
Angel remembered Laplace mentioning she had entered Abyssal Hollow before, but she hadn't detailed what it was like inside.
