Chapter 1 - Welcome to the Campus, Goddess

"Gosh, she's so beautiful."

"How to be her? I'm so jealous."

"Hi, Celestine! You look even more gorgeous in person!"

"Oh my gosh, I'm such a fan!"

"So it's true… she's really enrolling here?"

"Celestine! Just one glance, please!"

"Can I take a photo of your look today?"

"I have to tell my friends, Celestine is actually here at our school!"

Hi. I'm Precious Celestine Gonzales, though most people just call me Celestine.

And this?

This is what I deal with the moment I step onto campus.

People always see me on billboards, luxury campaigns, international runways. My face floods social media and TV screens. At this point, not knowing me is impossible. I am this era's definition of fame.

So naturally, seeing me in person?

Chaos.

Now, if you're wondering why I'm here… honestly, I don't know either.

I was only informed yesterday that I had to enroll in this school. "For important reasons," they said. Reasons they'll only reveal once I cooperate.

Suspicious.

They even made sure I came alone with no bodyguards, no personal assistants.

How inconvenient.

Still, being admired like this? I handle it effortlessly. A simple hair flip. A perfectly timed smile.

That's all it takes to make hearts melt.

Why would I stop them?

Their admiration… is my fuel.

Let's just say their voices are my version of a beauty pill. The more they praise me, the more radiant I become.

They even gave me titles.

"The Fallen Goddess of Earth."

"The Social Media Goddess."

You can see it for yourself. Follow me on Heartygram and Beautybook.

WARNING: Don't stare into my eyes for too long.

You might not recover.

You've probably read myths before.

Some of you believe them. Some don't.

But darling…

They're real.

We are real.

I am the daughter of the Goddess of Beauty.

A child of the divine.

I've been living on Earth for quite some time now, fulfilling certain… "requirements" before I can claim my rightful place.

Soon, I'll return.

And when I do, I'll take the crown that belongs to me.

But enough about that.

Classes are about to start.

It's the first day of classes here at Campus Royalty High.

And, ideally, my last.

I have no intention of staying here for an entire year. I'm only here to uncover the reason behind my sudden assignment here.

Yet somehow, I've been instructed to attend classes for today, at least.

Can you believe it?

Orders from the Gods are really stressful sometimes.

/Author's Voice/

It was the first day of classes at Campus Royalty High for the academic year 20**.

Students filled the campus. Some excited, others overwhelmed. For many, it was their first time stepping into a place known for prestige and pressure.

Because at CRHS, not just anyone can get in.

You either come from an elite, well-known family…

Or possess exceptional intelligence to pass the brutal entrance exams and earn a scholarship.

And if you have neither?

Strong connections.

Close ties to members of the School Head Council.

That's how Celestine got in.

Through connections… not of this world.

The Olympus, the realm where she came from, made sure everything was prepared for her stay on Earth.

A complete identity.

Legal documents.

A house.

A car.

A driver.

And with her already-established fame in the entertainment industry, blending into this world became effortless.

As she walked through the campus, heads turned instantly.

Eyes followed.

Whispers spread.

And Celestine?

She loved every second of it.

Because the more admiration she received…

the more beautiful she became.

"Celestine!"

She stopped and turned.

Two girls were running toward her.

They reached her, slightly out of breath but visibly excited.

"Celestine, right?"

"Yes, I-"

"I'm Hailey!" the short-haired girl said quickly, extending her hand.

Before Celestine could fully respond, the other girl jumped in.

"Hi! I'm Kira! Nice to meet you! Oh my god, you're even prettier in person. You are so pretty already on screen but then your beauty is even more out of this world in person!"

Hailey lightly nudged her.

Kira laughed shyly.

Celestine blinked, slightly confused, but still smiled.

"Nice to meet you… both." As she waved her elegantly to them.

A brief silence passed.

Celestine tilted her head slightly, waiting.

"Oh! Right!" Hailey snapped. "We're here to guide you around since it's your first day."

Celestine clapped softly, graceful as ever.

"Oh, great. So, they sent me assistants, perfect!" -Celestine said and sigh as a relief.

The two girls exchanged awkward glances… then laughed.

"Ah… no," Hailey said. "We're your classmates."

"We were asked by the council to help you familiarize yourself with the school," Kira added.

Celestine frowned slightly.

"Familiarize? Why? Just tell me where the classroom and the council office are. I'll only be here for today anyway."

The two paused.

"…You're not staying?" Kira asked.

"N-"

"You're already in uniform," Hailey pointed out.

"Well, this was given to me this morni-"

"So you are staying!" Hailey beamed, grabbing her hands.

Before Celestine could correct them, the two had already started guiding her along.

She sighed… and just followed.

As they walked down the hallway-

"Wait! Didn't you go to the beach last Friday?" Hailey asked. "I saw it on your Heartygram!"

Celestine nodded.

"How come you didn't tan at all?"

"…I'm not sure," she replied awkwardly.

"Sana all," Kira laughed. "You're still glowing as ever."

Celestine smiled.

"Come on, let's go, we might be late." – Celestine said to cut off the chitchats and find out already why she is sent to this school in the first place.

"Okay, Goddess," Hailey teased.

Celestine glanced at her.

Goddess.

Nothing wrong about it but felt strange.

"Look who's here."

A girl with long, curly brown hair blocked their path, flanked by two others.

"Oh-hi, Ash," Hailey greeted politely.

"Why are you two with her?" Ashley asked, eyeing the two. "Does she even know you?"

"No, but we were told-"

"Oh, really?" Ashley cut in. "She should be with us. She'd be a perfect addition to our group."

She crossed her arms, smirking.

The two girls were gently pushed aside.

"Hi, I-"

But before Ashley could finish…

Celestine walked past her.

Back to Hailey and Kira.

"Let's go." She ordered the two and started walking away.

Their eyes widened in shock… then lit up with excitement as they followed her.

Behind them, Ashley watched, her smile slowly turning into a dangerous smirk.

Celestine glanced back.

Ashley's eyes widened in shock but it seems like no one else saw it other than her.
