The one where the godly handsome, picture-perfect, extremely ruthless mafia king rejects all the gorgeous, sexy ladies ( even though he's slept with half of them ) for the beautiful, innocent, untouched, holier-than-thou common woman who only marries him to pay off her sick grandma's medical bills and then slowly ends up falling for him. This is not one of those stories. Excerpt: Lynx stepped a little closer to his target, his intentions far from subtle. "Having a good night?" he asked, pretending to watch the couples swaying across the ballroom floor. "Why wouldn't I be?" Shayna replied without looking at him. "Merely observing," Lynx chuckled. "Are you missing someone?" he continued, staring ahead. "Are there no other beautiful women for you to entertain?" Shayna whispered, slightly annoyed. "There are," he admitted, his chest rising slightly. "But there is only one I can't seem to look away from." A faint blush crept across Shayna's cheeks before she turned her head. "And what exactly do you want from this lucky woman?" A smile tugged at his lips. "A dance, perhaps.
