Book of Machines: Chapter of the Artisan

Two decades have passed since the official end of the Final Robotic War, an event commonly referred to as Liberation Day. Humanity now governs itself once more, though the scars of Machine dominion remain deeply embedded in every layer of civilization. Earth has been partially rebuilt, with major population centers restored under unified planetary governance. However, vast regions remain uninhabitable, either stripped of resources during the Machine expansion era or contaminated by ancient weapons of mass disruption. Humanity’s population is a fraction of what it once was. To prevent a repeat of history, governance has shifted away from nation-states toward centralized authority with each continent having a single government. These governments have strict oversight over technological development. That meant every machine with a prolonged lifespan dating back from the first generation to the third was strictly controlled. Same went for the weapons of mass destruction- cold weapons which has been forbidden from use. Knowledge of robotics and Al creation were both destroyed. Robots were eradicated on sight, same went for Sentient Machines. And most of their bodies were sealed in Nephilim. And same went for the family that led to the creation of the killing machines. The Reed family were hunted, prosecuted and sometimes excuted. And Sam had only survived to this time by hiding his last name.
