Synopsis
In a world buried under sudden snowfall and crawling with mutated corpses, one man learns the hard way that trust is the quickest way to die.
A year after the CryoRot virus escaped its ancient ice prison, humanity collapsed. The government lied. The cold never stopped. And the zombies didn’t stay zombies—they evolved, got faster, smarter, and uglier. The final nail in the world’s coffin came in the shape of a towering Tyrant, a monster strong enough to use cars as toothpicks.
And that’s the thing that tore Marcus Villarin in half.
Left behind as bait by the teammates he once called family, Marcus’s last thoughts weren’t fear or regret—they were pure, undiluted annoyance.
“Great. I survived three years of hell just to be used as a chew toy.”
But death wasn’t the end.
He wakes up a year before the fall, lying on his old beat-up mattress, the same cracked ceiling staring down at him as if mocking him.
Only this time, he remembers everything.
The betrayal.
The monsters.
The endless winter.
And the fact that he’s broke.
With nothing in his wallet and the apocalypse countdown ticking, Ryco decides to rely on the one thing that never betrayed him: his inner cheapskate survival instincts.
He heads to the forest to hunt for food—only to get a glowing blue notification right in front of his face:

And the more he grows, the more the CryoRot virus reacts to him.
Now Marcus juggles a ridiculous double life:
• Hunting wild boars for future meals
• Grinding XP like a video game addict
• Sabotaging early infection clusters
• Avoiding nosy neighbors
• Preparing for an extinction-level event no one else believes in
• And drafting the most chaotic, sarcastic survival guide the world has ever seen
He vows two things:
One: Survive the apocalypse.
Two: Make the traitors who abandoned him wish he stayed dead.
But the CryoRot virus has already begun mutating again.
The first Runner appears in six days.
The Hunters in two months.
And somewhere out there, the Tyrant that once split him in half is slowly being born.
This time, Ryco isn’t planning to run.
