The story begins with the Seidou team preparing for the new season after a tough loss in Koshien. While the core players—Eijun, Furuya, Miyuki—are laser-focused on improvement, the coach introduces a new student, Asahi Kuroda, as a transfer from Hokkaido. He joins the team as an outfielder, but his calm demeanor and exceptional skill hint at something more.
