Set in the magical world of Ruminia, the story follows Lyrian Mercer and Reone Damascus, two powerful Resonants who used to date in college but ended up breaking up and going their separate ways at the very last day of school. The two are reunited two years later, at the royal wedding of their mutual friends. The universe doesn’t want them to be together, so naturally, things go downhill from there.
